In 2005, I founded Cancer Rehab Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those living with cancer. People with a diagnosis of cancer are surviving longer, leading to a gap in our healthcare system. With increased survival comes physical challenges associated with cancer and its treatments. We need more qualified healthcare providers who can work with people with cancer to aid them with their return to normal activities of daily living and occupations.

Complex Case Studies in Oncology
This online course will be interactive. Get ready to participate. After reviewing two complex case studies on cancer, the participants will help to determine the most effective assessments to perform, outcome measures to use and treatments to provide.

Rehabilitation in the Older Adult with Cancer
At the end of this online physiotherapy course, therapists will have an understanding of the most relevant cancers in the older adult population and their medical treatments.

Advanced Rehab Techniques in Oncology
This online physiotherapy course is designed for the advanced health care professionals who have been working with patients with cancer. It is a follow up to the first course “Rehab Techniques in Oncology”.

Oncology for Fitness Professionals
As fitness professionals, we are going to work with clients with a diagnosis of cancer in gyms, outpatient clinics, private clinics and in their homes. We are just going to see more people that have been touched by cancer. We need to know what we are doing and be confident in our skills.

Self Care for Arthritis
This course is composed of modules of video lessons, exercises and a forum where you can ask questions and discuss with other course attendees as well as the instructor herself.
